Service technician was friendly, professional, and wore his mask. Very happy with his work. Gave me his notes and several options to consider going forward. UPDATE: After consulting two other HVAC companies, I opted to go with The Good Guys. The other two were fine, but I felt really confident with this company. The technicians — Tim, Adam, and Nate — who performed the install of an entire HVAC system worked right through a PG&E power outage and were patient with my new puppy, who got in their faces every chance he got. The work looks great, everything works great, and most of all, I feel sure that Bill Roberts and his team will take care of anything that might come up in the future. Highly recommend

Our unit went out during the night. The Good Guys team came out that day to diagnose. He advised they could fix it, but called out a few things that would also need attention and possibly fail. The unit was 25 years old, so I was not surprised. I was able to get a same-day quote of a new unit and installation the next day. Shout out to the team Butch, Clinton, and Leo; it was a super cold day and started raining right as they showed up. Before I knew it, heat was restored. They were quick, clean, and professional. Communication could be a bit better, especially post-installation. I was told I would get a better smart thermostat. Looking at other reviews, they looked like a screen with stars, really nice, but my nice one was replaced with a more basic version—yes, new, but not what I was expecting. There was damage on delivery, and the tech was going to work with the PM on replacement. I’ve reached out and followed up, but am still waiting on a response from the PM. Overall good experience and would recommend.

WOW, I'm glad I called Good Guys Nov 7, 2024

I don't normally post anything on social media. My air conditioner was 20 years old and was having some issues, so I called Good Guys. WOW, I'm glad I did that. They set up an appointment for the next day for a salesperson to come out. The sales guy was very professional and polite. His name is Scott. I felt no pressure, and he made me feel at ease. So I went with Good Guys to replace my HVAC system. I wanted to replace before the new California laws go into effect in January. The installers came out, and I was very impressed with their work ethics and how informative they were. I want to do a big shout-out to Clinton, Leo, and Roy. I was so impressed that I went and talked to my neighbors. I told them about Good Guys and how impressed I was. So yesterday one of my neighbors had Scott the salesperson come to his house, and he just signed to get a new Champion HVAC system. BTW - Champion gives 5 years labor warranty and 10 years parts warranty. I am just so happy. Thank you Good Guys for excellent work done. You will be blessed if you call them. Darrell

We’ve had Good Guys out for various problems over the last 2 years, and we’ve always been impressed with the customer service from everyone we’ve had contact with. They’re easy to get a hold of, and they’ve always gotten us an appointment quickly! I trust their assessments of issues, and the prices are competitive. We recently had our entire HVAC replaced for our upstairs unit by them, and Randy, who came out for a quote, was great. He was honest and upfront about costs and other options should we decide not to replace. Clinton and Mike were phenomenal for the install. My husband was at work, and they were professional and respectful that I had my two littles to get down for naps and whatnot while they were here, making sure the kids were both awake before they checked the vents in their rooms. They were friendly and explained everything they were doing. They kept our home clean and cleaned up all their debris after the job was completed. I’m extremely happy that we used Good Guys and feel confident, should we have any issues in the future, that they’d be dealt with quickly and professionally. I would recommend them to anyone looking to have any HVAC work done!

So, the crew arrived yesterday to remove our entire HVAC system and ducting, and replace it with a new Goodman 4T unit. The guys (Tim, Ryan, Jack, and Nate) were all professional, polite, and informative, and upgraded our system to two zones and two thermostats. They scheduled a crane service to lift our old box out and the new one in. New ductwork and dampers work perfectly; tested heating and cooling after install, and circulation was incredible compared to our old unit. This company gets my thumbs up for value, on-time performance, and fast, painless installation. Tim explained all the details of system operation, upstairs and under the house. I highly recommend the Good Guys. Thanks also to Bill and Ashley for all the financing information.

Red and Eli did a great job installing my new 5 ton HVAC system and furnace. They both worked their butts off and were knowledgeable, courteous, and left my house clean when completed. They were thorough and went over the entire system and answered all of my questions. In addition, Good Guys pricing beat five other competitors. The closest proposal was $3,000 more, and the most expensive was $6,000 more for a smaller unit; plus the Good Guys warranty exceeded all others.

We knew that our HVAC system was on its last legs, so we started reaching out to different companies about 2 months ago. Good Guys' great customer service started with the sales associate. He was informative, answered questions, explained the system and the process very well, and never pushed. He did ask for the sale, and I appreciate that; that is his job. Also, he followed up and was patient as I got things in order to complete the project. The installation process was FAST, and the crew that was here working on the house was extremely professional, nice, courteous, and happy to answer questions. We had Mike C, Roy, Dylan, and Butch out here installing, and I think this was like a superstar team, because they got it done fast and right and still took the time to walk around with me, show me what they did, and explain the system to me. I would recommend Good Guys without hesitation. Good to see a local business that continues to offer customer service as their best product.
