We ran into an issue with the fuse, but they quickly recognized the issue and communicated the next steps clearly. They arrived on time each time and the issue was resolved. I highly recommend Good Guys Heating and Air for multiple reasons. I am extremely happy with the service I received from not only the owner, but the technicians Mike and Lucas who were enjoyable to work with. The communication between everyone I had to engage with was superb, and I am thankful for their honesty, prompt response time, and making financing the project easy. Ashley did a great job working her magic and getting us the best rate at a monthly payment that is absolutely affordable. Bill came out, looked over our system, listened to what I wanted, educated me on the process and equipment, and within 24 hours had a complete system delivered by 9 a.m. and my house cooling by 3 p.m. Mike and Lucas showed up on time, wore their booties, and were absolutely a joy to work with. I work from home and take calls, and they did a great job making noise in between my calls and kept their mess pretty picked up throughout the day. They were informative and very professional. And they didn’t mind having my dogs supervise. Highly recommend Bill and his team. They make homeownership not so sucky.

We had to replace an old HVAC unit in our master bedroom. It was a 2-ton split unit with the compressor outside. As promised, the Good Guys team of Mike and Dylon were on time and completed the job, in a very professional way, in about 6 hours. They protected the work area and would use shoe coverings when indoors. We would highly recommend this locally owned business. I contacted The Good Guys and made an appointment for a quote for a new AC unit since ours was 13 years old and showing its age. Luck would have it my AC quit late afternoon the day before my appointment. I called Good Guys and spoke with Ashley; she was great and actually had a tech out to check my unit in less than 4 hours. Jason tried really hard to get our unit up and running, but there were too many issues and I didn't want to put a bunch of $$$ in an old unit. Scott came out the next day a bit earlier than the appointment. Scott thoroughly went through all of our options for a new unit and got us scheduled for install a week later. Major job due to being a large 2 story with the furnace/AC in the attic. It should have been a 2 day job, but they knocked it out in 1 very long day. Four techs showed up on time and worked virtually nonstop until early evening to finish the job. They were all very professional and respectful of our property. Great job, I would highly recommend The Good Guys to all of my family and friends! Thank you so much!

Where to begin?! My husband and I have been putting off replacing our AC unit for 3 years now, only doing bandaid fixes. We finally had it melt down on us this summer with this extreme heat. We called Good Guys after hours and were greeted by Shannon (thank you for answering after biz hours!), and she got us scheduled with an appt the next day. Ryan came out to go over, in detail, what system we could have installed, and also made us aware of the terrible job that was previously done in the attic with incorrect intake size, etc. We picked our system and today, Mike C. and Clinton came out to do the install, along with Butch. Hats off to these gentlemen! I know this is hard work, and probably extremely uncomfortable in an attic when it’s blazing hot in there, but all they had were smiles on their faces and cheerful dispositions the entire time. The elaborate and extensive work done by these men was incredible, to say the least. You guys make your job look easy, somehow! All my questions were answered, they cleaned up impeccably, and they were on their way at the end of the day, leaving our house feeling nice and chilly! Amazing! Thank you Mike, Clinton, Butch, Ryan, and Shannon! I’ll refer you to anyone in a heartbeat. God bless you all!

Roy and Clinton are amazing. They did a service and explained our options. We opted for a new system; they scheduled us right away. They did all the work within the time frame they gave, laid out mats to keep the house clean while working, explained what they were doing, how the new system would work, and cleaned up all the debris. They were courteous, efficient, and diligent even while working in 106-degree weather. Their bid was unbeatable and worth every penny. Great price, amazing service, and quality materials!

I reached out to Butch to get a quote for a 4 ton unit as he was the one who replaced our water heater about a year ago. We had excellent service then so I wanted to get a quote from this local family business. Butch contacted me back to let me know that his dad, Bill, would come out to do that for me. Bill arrived on time at the scheduled time given. He took a look into the attic and the outside unit. He verbally gave me a quote and told me to check my email within a few hours for a formal written quote. He told me to take a look at it and call if I had any questions. I approved it and a crew was scheduled to come out in a few days. Bill was very nice and professional. I had a question so I called the office and spoke to Lori. She was very nice as she answered my question. The night before the day the crew were to come start this 2 day job, I received a text. The text stated what time and who would be coming that next day. The next morning the crew of 2 showed up on time. Roy and Cornel introduced themselves to me in a friendly, professional manner. Roy explained to me what they would be doing today and if I had any questions to please ask either one of them. The two had been working in the hot, hot attic as it was over 100 degrees outside. They were working very hard to get things done in the attic. Later that afternoon, Adam came to remove and install the unit outside. Adam was very knowledgeable and nice to answer a question for me. He explained to me to make sure to block the unit so the dogs would not pee on it as it will damage the unit, so I did put up a barrier. As Adam finished his part working on the unit, he cleaned up the backyard and left as his job was completed. Roy and Cornel continued working. They left day 1 of a 2 day job as you would not even know they were there as they cleaned up after themselves. They took their stuff and loaded it back to the truck. Roy and Cornel came back into the house as Roy informed me what I should expect on day 2. I thanked them both for the hard work they put in today. That next morning Roy showed up again on time to finish the job. He said it would be him working today. He had a cheerful attitude and worked hard through the day in, again, another 100+ degree day. When he was done with the rest of the unit being installed, he showed me how to use the new thermostats and went over paperwork to keep regarding manufacturer manuals. He told me he just needed to clean up and he would be completely done. I would give a million star rating if I could. I highly recommend calling them to help you with your heating & cooling needs. I know from my experience with them they are and will be my go-to for my heating & cooling needs. I wish more employees would take pride in their jobs and owners appreciate their workers like they do here.

Kyle and Dylan were great. They were on time. They didn’t complain about the heat… it had to have been 120 in the attic. On top of all that, they stayed until almost 7:00 because that’s how long the job took thanks to some issues with my attic setup. They didn’t complain or seem annoyed. They did everything they could to make sure we had our new AC installed. What was 87 degrees at 7:00 p.m. is already below 79 at 9:00. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a good and reliable AC/Heating company in the greater Sacramento area. (And ask for Kyle and Dylan to do your install… you won’t be disappointed!)
