We had a mini split unit installed by Good Guys a couple years ago (great experience) and just had them out again to expand the system for an addition we’re doing. The service is great as ever, the owner Bill came out with the guys to make sure everyone was on the same page. Clinton and Aaron were in and out. I think they literally left my disaster of a renovation house cleaner than they found it, and the new AC works great. Highly recommend Good Guys.

I would rate them more than five stars if I could. I could tell it was going to be a great experience from the get go. The first contact was with Lindsey who scheduled my appointment. She was very friendly and professional. Ray came out and assessed my old system that I wanted replaced. Again, very friendly and professional. Roy, Dylan, and Eli were tasked with the installation of the mini split unit, and they did an amazing job! They were very respectful and professional and went above and beyond to really make sure that the mini split was perfect. It turned out that the old system was not installed properly, so they started from scratch, and the owner Bill came out twice to assess and make sure the job could be done. I could not be happier with the results. This is definitely the place to go for your heating and cooling needs!

We just had our mini split serviced for the first time. It was installed just over a year ago. Dave Valerio came out to do the service. He was exceptional. He explained everything to me. I had no idea I needed to clean the filters every three months. He showed me how to remove them and put them back. He also explained how the remotes worked, as far as setting it to sway back and forth and have the flap continually moving to have the air circulate better. Dave is an asset to Good Guys Heating and Cooling.

Split system was installed in 8/22. I don’t use it too often. Initially, it was not explained to me that this system works totally differently from my old central one. I hated it, and now I realize that I just didn’t understand the system. I thought the heater wasn’t working. Dave Valerio came out, checked everything, then EXPLAINED how it works in a language this 75-year-old had no problem understanding. He was very professional, extremely knowledgeable. The company didn’t charge for the call; he said it was a follow-up. I will spread my great experience with this company, and that’s most definitely thanks to Dave.

I rarely, if ever, write reviews for companies, but felt compelled to do so for this team. It really did shock me at how quickly and professionally my family was taken care of when we needed something to escape the heat with our very old system barely keeping the house 15 degrees cooler than outside air. Tim, Wes, and Adam from The Good Guys just finished installing a mini-split A/C at our home in Lincoln. Not only was the install fast, but exactly what we needed to increase the efficiency of our climate system while lowering the operating costs. The suggested system works perfectly to keep every room at the exact temperatures each person likes. They were extremely professional and answered all of our questions, ensuring we were happy before considering the job complete. The install looks clean even with separate levels and walls that did not always make straight runs easy. I would recommend them for any heating and cooling needs. They are very friendly and work hard to make the customer happy.

What great service. My house is unusual and was looking to do three mini-splits. Ryan came over and walked through many options on how to accomplish what I wanted within my home, and helped me get the right options for each room. First problem comes up, how to install through this type of home, but Bill comes over and resolves it instantly with a much cleaner solution than I had anticipated. 2 business days later, a group of guys shows up promptly to start the job. They worked hard to get, what was originally a three-day job, done in two. Roy, Dylan, Kirt, Cordel, and Charlie all did a great job not just with the work but making sure any questions I had were answered. This was the second job I have done with Roy and Good Guys and can't recommend them enough. Thank you and keep up the great work.

Then the install crew worked extremely hard to get everything done in one day. Jimmy kept us updated every step of the way. Butch came to get things finished up and running for us on a Saturday. Absolutely one of the best around! We had a mini split installed a few years back that never seemed to work right. The person we had install it came out a couple of times, changed a few parts, but nothing made it any better. He’s out of business now, so I called Good Guys. They were very professional, informative, and on time. Dave Valerio was the tech guy they sent. I was impressed by his honesty and knowledge. He never once tried to sell me another unit. He found the problem and got it fixed. It’s never worked this good. I highly recommend this company! Simply put, they really are “Good Guys.”

Great same-day service to resolve an inoperable HVAC that was blowing a fuse. Jason, the technician, was capable, courteous, and personable. Jessica in the office was helpful and dispatched assistance promptly. Price was a bit higher than expected for changing out a contactor relay that’s about $40 on Amazon, but it’s probably not too far off of industry standard for same-day service and associated diagnostic to locate the short circuit. I’ve used them before and would do so again in the future.
