We came home from vacation to find our 35-year-old heat pump A/C failing. Good Guys was the first company we called, never really had reason to compare $$ because, fortunately, they were able to get tech Mike out right away to diagnose the issue. Decided to go with new unit; everything Ryan had said went as planned and described. Install was on time and thoughtful. Roy and his team Jimmy and Cordel did a great job! Had little issue with cooling at first. Sent tech Butch out; he figured out small issue right away. Professional shop from first call to finish.

Heat pump installation. They quoted me a ‘no problems’ final quote and they meant it! They upgraded the system when the one they quoted wasn’t available, moved the installation point to a better location for me including moving drywall and installing closet doors. The system is quiet and uber-efficient. I couldn’t be happier with the product or the work. I was their first customer using the federal rebates and I was a real thorn in their side, making sure it went through. They remained friendly and polite throughout the entire process.

I really don't know if I can say enough good things about this company. We first had Kyle come right away when our heat pump stopped working on Friday. He was such a wonderful person! He educated me about so much that I did not know about my AC/heating in my house! Sadly, our heat pump was not able to be saved, so after talking to Kyle about what we needed, we decided to have Good Guys give us an estimate. Kyle called to have a project manager come over. It was late in the day, but they said he could come over about 4 p.m. So Randy showed up right on time. He was super informative and agreed with what Kyle had recommended for us. Randy was also so informative and friendly! He gave some extra ideas and showed how we could improve our AC in our house. We decided to go with them and have a new heat pump installed. Randy put down all the details and made sure we understood everything. Just perfect. They came out on Monday morning and had the whole system up and running by 4:30 p.m.! The crew they had working were the most friendly and polite work people I have ever had at my house! Everything was cleaned up at the end of the day as well. I would recommend Good Guys 100%! Amazing people all way through.

Professional and Courteous Installers May 29, 2025

Mike, aka Red, and Lucas were professional and courteous. We work from home, and they were kind enough to keep the noise of a new 5-ton heat pump installation to a minimum. I can’t rave enough about how Red went above the normal install. He even painted my attic access (that so many HVAC guys before dirtied with their hands), changed the light bulb in the attic, and reprogrammed an air ventilation stuck in bypass mode. These two were patient and answered all my questions. Would recommend these two installation guys from Good Guys!

After receiving several proposals from different companies and equipment, I was fortunate to come across Bill, the owner of Good Guys. Very knowledgeable and presented an appealing proposal, which I accepted. Installation scheduling was quick, and the installers, Tim, Cordal, and Adam, were on time, pleasant, and knowledgeable. Installation was professional and equipment running smoothly. Tim walked me through all the functions of the equipment, and Cordal was exceptionally cordial. All in all, very pleased with my experience with the Good Guys and highly recommend them.

My wife and I had Good Guys Heating and Air replace our heating/air units with a heat pump system. Our air conditioning system had broken over the 4th of July holidays. Good Guys was the only company to give us a bid for a heat pump for less than $20,000. They were willing to repair our ductwork without insisting that it be replaced, which saved us about $6,000. The work was performed today. The whole process took about 4.5 hours. The technicians, Jimmy, Justin, and Leandro were timely, competent, and friendly. We will be using Good Guys in the future to maintain the system.

Great same-day service to resolve an inoperable HVAC that was blowing a fuse. Jason, the technician, was capable, courteous, and personable. Jessica in the office was helpful and dispatched assistance promptly. Price was a bit higher than expected for changing out a contactor relay that’s about $40 on Amazon, but it’s probably not too far off of industry standard for same-day service and associated diagnostic to locate the short circuit. I’ve used them before and would do so again in the future.

My husband and I are really impressed with our recent HVAC duct replacement by Good Guys Heating and Cooling. Both the project manager, Randy Anderson, and Clinton Daley, the installation clinician, were personable, knowledgeable, efficient, and on time. Clinton was a hard worker and finished our job well within the time frame we were given. He also saw a hole in our outer wall where mice, rats, and insects could get in and patched it (without additional cost). Additionally, he removed a large object left and stored under our house that was too cumbersome for my husband and me to remove (also for no additional cost). He also secured insulation that was falling away from the subfloor—you guessed it—no additional cost. We really had a great experience doing business with Good Guys Heating and Cooling. We highly recommend using their services for any of your heating and cooling needs. They went above and beyond and we got a good deal more than we expected.
